About Jean DeRosa
Known as Jean DeRo, Jean was born and raised in the restaurant and bakery business. Her parents owned DeRosa's Bakery and Restaurant in Bound Brook, New Jersey.
A career built around food and hospitality
Jean's path has included professional chef-caterer, food service management, consulting and management for a major north Jersey coffee and tea company, executive chef for a major hotel chain, owner of a fine private catering firm, published catering consultant and sauté chef at a four-star private country club. She has cooked for celebrities, politicians and private clients.
Clients and distinguished occasions
Her experience includes AT&T, New Jersey Television Network, Welcome Wagon International, Travelers Insurance, Curves International, the Irma M. Fritschman Memorial High Tea and cooking for His Eminence Joseph Cardinal Tobin, Archbishop of Newark.
Credentials and community
Jean's credentials and memberships include WBE, WOSB, SBE and the International Charcuterie Association. She served twice as President and Vice President of the Terra Nova Garden Club of Edison, lectures on gardening and fine food, and incorporates harvests from her organic garden into her dishes.
